Lunar New Year Celebration February 12, 2011

More than 50 participants joining together in Asian Delight ,Silver Spring , Maryland to celebrate Chinese Lunar New Year on February 12, 2011. The special event is organized by Jiangsu International Chamber of Commerce (JSICC), inviting 25 Provincial Officials from Jiangsu, China, who attending MPA degree in the University of Maryland. Mr. Peng Xiang Fong, Vice director of Urban and City Development of Jiangsu Province, together with Mr.Qin Yadong, Vice Director of Environmental Protection Bureau of Jiangsu Province and other Officials presented, who joined JSICC Inauguration Ceremony on may 23, 2010. The networking event is huge success, with great supports from JSICC executive members and thanks for the contributions from Triway International Group, Homei Technology & Kingstar Institute, Havarest Realty, Anova, Washington Avenue Associates, The China Press Weekly and Asian Delight, etc.

JSICC & Universal Stones’ Joint Party December 18, 2010

A special party was held on December 18, 2010 to celebrate JSICC’s seven-month birthday while Universal Stones turning to its seven-year birthday. The joint efforts have been arranged for couple of weeks before its ceremony began. More than 50 attendees, among them are Chamber and Universal Stones Executives, while others are guests, friends and members attending the party. Chamber’s Secretary-General, Mr. Richard Tao presided the event ceremony; Mr. Jimmy Yang, the president of the Chamber and Universal Stones reported the achievements have been made during the last 7 months since its opening; Dr. Toni Ni, the chairman of the Chamber briefing Chamber’s recent expansion for its members, not only from Jiangsu, but also from other region as well. Consul-General, Mr. Chen Xiong Feng and Consul and First Secretary, Mr. Chen Ye congratulated for Chamber’s achievements and contribution efforts to prosper the community in the Greater Washington Region; Mr. Gene Bailey, VP of the Chamber delivered a warm speech; Mr. You Jiang, the president of The China Press, together with 7 of his associates, especially came down from New York to attend the ceremony; Mr. Randy Steck and Mr. Marc Ghidotti from Nationwide Restate Development Companies welcomed Chamber’s growth in the region and expecting to bring opportunity for their business as well. Mr. Nick Ye, the VP of Universal Stones, shared company’s most recent achievements and expansion. Eight outstanding employees were recognized and awarded by Jimmy Yang, the president of Universal Stones.

JSICC is proudly open on May 23 (Sunday), 2010

More than 100 of Entrepreneurs, Government Officials, Business and Organization leaders were gathering together to celebrate the opening of Jiangsu International Chamber of Commerce (JSICC) at Cannon Ridge Golf Club Fredericksburg Virginia on May 23, 2010. JSICC, a nonprofit, non-sectarian, non-political international organization, finally witnesses the first day in its history. In the early morning of May 23 (Sunday), 2010, Commonwealth Hall, Cannon Ridge Golf Club was busy unlike its usual quiet morning. By 9:00am, the meeting hall is organized neat, all the tables were arranged as classroom style, covered by black table cloth, JSICC’s banner was hanged high at the stage wall, and the logo on the podium looks sharp and formal. By 9:50am the hall were fully packed by attendees from Virginia and Maryland.
