Fauquier Barrel Oak Winery Hosting Jiangsu Officials January 14, 2012
Fewer people from Oversea visiting Washington will have the luck to pay a visit to Fauquier Winery. On January 14, 2012, Satureday, JSICC together with Fauquier Economic Development and Tourism coordination, organized a tour in Barrel Oak and Three Fox Winery. 12 Officials from Jiangsu Province, who have continued education in the University of Maryland, joined by other organization leaders including Mr. Yunming Song, President of Network Society, China Science and Technology Association, Mr. Richard Tao, President of Wuxi Association. Mr. Brian Roeder, the owner of the Barrel Oak, introduced the history of this Winery, educated the group the process of wine making and hosted the group with 7 different self-produced wines. The group continued its second stop in Thee Fox Winery after the lunch. Mr. John Todhunter, the owner of Three Fox, introduced the detailed proccedure for Red and White Wine making and let the group to have his best-seller wines tasted...
JSICC & Wuxi Association Annual Meeting December 30, 2011
The Council Members of JSICC and Wuxi Association had a joint Annual Meeting in Asian Delight on December 30, 2011. Mr. Richard Tao, President of Wuxi Association has reported to the Board what has achieved during the year 2011 and the future events the Association would like to participate; Jimmy Yang, the Chamber's President, has reported to the Boards with a powerpoint presentation the major events JSICC has been organized, participated and hosted in the year 2011 and JSICC would have a special Board meeting for the Future President and Chairman election on March this year. Mr. Gene Bailey, Vice President of Chamber and Mr. Leon Xie, Vice President of Chamber,both speak higly of the achievements the current administration and expect the Board working more closely to have a successful 2012.

The Ribbon Cutting On The Grand Opening Of Asian Delight October 1, 2011
On October 1 2011, Saturday, JSICC join in the ribbon cutting ceremony on the grand opening of the newest, authentic Chinese Seafood Restaurant, Asian Delight. Nearly 200 guests, friends, government officials, including Assistant Secretary of Commerce and Trade, Common Wealth of Virginia , Mr. Peter Su; Coulcilman City of Fairfax, Mr.Jeff Greenfield; Coulcilman of Virginia State Global Strategic, Mr. Mike Jing; National Director, Fairfax County Economic Development Authority, Mr. Rodney L. Lusk; Administrator Governor's Commission on Hispanic Affairs State of Maryland, Ms Jessy P Mejia; Vietnam Country Trade Representative, State of Maryland, Mr. George Dang; President of Fredericksburg Regional Alliance, Mr. Gene Bailey together with other VIPs all come to congraduate the opening of the Asian Delight in the City of Fairfax. Representatives from US Jiangsu International Chamber of Commerce (JSICC) played a host for a delegation headed by Vice Mayor Han Jiuyun of Changzhou, Jiangsu, China. A fifty members of delegation, most of them are business entrepreneurs together with government officials, with a trade mission in Atlanta and Detroit. Bilateral Cooperation Memorandum between CCPIT, Jiangsu Sub-Council and JSICC March 30,2011
A special reception was held to welcome CCPIT delegation headed by Qiu Xiao Ping, Vice Chairwoman from Jiangsu Sub-Council on March 30, 2011 in China Palace, Rosslyn, Virginia. The reception was a joint effort from Triway International group and JSICC’s executive members. Mr. John Wu, the president of Triway and Senior Vice President of JSICC presided the reception, Mr. Jimmy Yang, president of JSICC welcomed Ms Qiu’s visit and hope the 10-entrepreneurs’ delegation a successful trip in US. Qiu introduced her delegates and briefing current economic growth in Jiangsu Province. A Bilateral Cooperation Memorandum between CCPIT, Jiangsu Sub-Council and JSICC was signed during the reception.
